KCET Round 3 Final Allotment Out: What to Do by September 10

Short answer: The KCET 2026 Round 3 final allotment was released on September 7, 2026. If you received a seat, log in to the KEA portal, choose the required acceptance option, pay the fee and download your admission order by September 10. You must then report to the allotted college by September 11. Do not wait for another round before completing these steps.

## Who is affected?

This update is for Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) candidates taking part in UGCET/KCET 2026 counselling, especially students who:

- received a seat in the Round 3 final allotment; - were waiting for an upgrade from their Round 2 seat; - are joining an engineering, agriculture, pharmacy or another UGCET-linked course; or - selected a Round 3 option and are unsure what to do after allotment.

This is a new step after the September 6 Choice 4 window covered in our earlier KCET Round 3 update. The final seat result is now available, so students must move from checking options to completing admission.

## What you must do now

1. Open the official KEA Admission and Recruitment Portal. 2. Open the UGCET/UGNEET 2026 admission or option-entry link. 3. Log in using your KCET details. 4. Download and read the final seat allotment result. 5. Check the allotted college, course, category and reporting instructions. 6. Select the acceptance option shown in your candidate login. 7. Pay the prescribed fee shown in the portal. 8. Download and save the admission order, fee receipt and confirmation slip, if issued. 9. Report to the allotted college with the original documents and copies before the college-reporting deadline.

The fee amount has not been stated in the sources checked for this post. Do not rely on a screenshot or message that gives a different amount. Use only the amount displayed inside your own KEA login.

## Important dates

| KCET Round 3 step | Date | What the student should do | |---|---:|---| | Final seat allotment | September 7, 2026 | Log in and check the allotted seat | | Fee payment and admission-order download | September 8 to 10, 2026 | Complete payment and download documents | | Last date to report to the allotted college | September 11, 2026 | Visit the college and complete admission formalities |

Careers360 reported these Round 3 dates in its update published on September 8, 2026. The KEA portal is the official place to log in and complete the action. We could not find a separate downloadable Round 3 schedule notice on the public KEA landing page during verification.

## What if you are happy with the seat?

Complete the payment and admission-order steps before September 10. Then contact the allotted college and confirm its reporting time, document list and office working hours. Carry your SSLC marks card, 2nd PUC marks card, KCET documents, study certificate, caste or income certificate if applicable, identification proof and passport-size photographs.

Use the exact document list in your allotment instructions. A missing original document can delay admission even if your online payment is successful.

## What if you are not happy with the seat?

Do not simply ignore the allotment. Read the choice and surrender rules shown in your KEA login. The final Round 3 result may be treated differently from an earlier provisional result, and the next option may not remain open after the deadline.

If you want to give up the seat, follow the official online surrender or cancellation process, if available. Merely staying away from the college is not the same as formally surrendering a seat. Careers360 has reported that candidates who fail to accept the final allotment may face a penalty under KEA rules. Check the exact instruction in your own allotment letter before taking any action.

## What happens if you miss the deadline?

If you do not complete the required payment or admission step by September 10, your seat may not be confirmed. If you do not report to the college by September 11, the admission can be affected or cancelled according to the KEA instructions. This is especially important for students who have already left another college or paid for travel and accommodation.

Take screenshots of every completed step and keep the downloaded documents in two places: your phone and a parent’s phone or email. If the portal shows an error, record the time, save the error message and contact KEA through the official portal immediately.
